This is going Nowhere..

It seems that I'm the only one who really cares about this project. Ryan is whoring Xbox, and every time he comes onto the PC, he uploads a few trailers, and then maybe, if he isn't ill or whatever, he will post something, which I have to correct becuase of his awful spelling and grammar. He can't even proof read...

Today, he failed twice. He posted my Assassins Creed 2 Achievement post again, but in his own words, just to say that the rumour was legit. I suggested he should delete his post and edit my post to say [Update: blah blah], but suprise suprise, he ignored me,  deleted my post, and refused to was unable to recognise how bad his grammar was in his post. He is now on his Xbox, after uploading 5 trailers (big deal), and posting 3 lines of text.

The problem is, is that I'm really enjoying this project and want it to go further, but seeing as some people can't even use their brains, I can't decide what to do. Everytime I say that I'm not going to bother with this anymore, Ryan just begs me to stay, and posts a couple of things. Then within 30 minutes, he is back on his Xbox again.

Actual Quote: Ryan: "I can't do this without you." I wish he was a bit more serious when begging me to carry on.

P.S. If you don't see any new posts or whatever, we have either quit, or Ryan is taking another of his week long breaks.

Various Things...

The Website and Forums are now up and running 100%. Well, there are still improvements to be done, but everything is working, so go ahead and make an account on the forum, and start making some posts!

After 21 days, Ryan has finally stated that he will post the first XUpdate video, so you should see that on YouTube soon. We would love to hear your opinions on the video, so go on over to our forums, or post underneath the vid.

We are thinking of upgrading our hosting package for the website, so we will have a normal www.blahblah.com address, plus unlimited space and bandwidth. At the moment, we have already taken up 280/500MB of space on the free host, so you may see the upgrade quite soon. When it happens, we will notify you on here, and all our other pages, which you can find links to here.

Sorry!

Over the past 9 or 10 days, we haven't released any new posts on our website. We are also 12 days late with the first video. Of course, there is someone to blame, and it is Ryan. He has been taking a 'break' from XUpdate, even though we are only 3 days in.

His connection is also failing at the moment (downloading something...?), so he is unable to upload videos to YouTube, meaning he has to ask someone else, mainly me or Rowan to upload them, wasting more time.

The Team have also not been working together extremely well, as some don't even know what to do! We should be back on track by the end of this week, and hopefully will have our first video up! If this doesn't happen for a reason like "cba" or "busy", then I'm afraid that we might just scrap XUpdate and do something else, or nothing at all. So sorry to you all (Yes, both of you.).

The XUpdate has now started! Check out all the recent updates on our website, and watch the latest videos on our YouTube Channel. Unfortunately due to Sony Vegas and YouTube failing and lagging up Ryan's computer, we couldn't bring you the first episode of the show, but we will try our hardest to post it ASAP.

General.

Okay, so, first off, you're probably wondering where is the big, green second title above? That is only for important views to attract your attention. Now, it is time to tell you guys what is going on. Alright, so a member of our team, Chris, has found another site builder and is currently working hard to supply a much better website. It includes forums, you can comment and rate videos on the website, add templates for reviews and such and much more. It is looking better each time I see it and I hope you guys enjoying it.

Another thing that has been going on is that I've been working on an XUpdate Intro. It's about 12 seconds long and I've done about 3 seconds. Haha. It'll be hard to do, but I'll be able to do this! Also, I'm experimenting at the same time with Sony Vegas at little more with how you express speed with effects, since I haven't done it before, but so far, it has been successful. Add a blur effect, drag it swiftly, sorted.

Alright, twos final thing is that I got the new Skillet Album and it is awesome! Best album thus far! Another thing is that I've listened to a lot of my friends responces on my annoucement video and how to improve:

1. It was too long. 7 minutes of me yabbing on, should have been no more than 3 or 4 minutes.
2. The beginning was a little random.
3. Sound have used a microphone?
4. Lastly, I was moving my arms/hands too much. Annoying habbit and can't really help that, since I was a little nervous, so I'm just going to position the camera and edit it so that you can't see my hands. 

And yeah, that's todays blog. If you read all this, well done to you! Thumbs up!

XUpdate website is now live!

Alright, so I've been a bit of a lazy shroom lately and haven't given one of our teams members, Chris, any of the edited pictures to finalize the website with on "Our Team" page. XUpdate is a-going up, up and beyond!

XUpdate is a-going up, up and beyond!

Facebook group sorted, Bebo group sorted, YouTube channel and group sorted, Twitter page sorted, Blogger site sorted, Website almost done. X Update is almost here! I reckon the only thing I need to do before I can safely say that it is ready to go is to get those two trailers sorted. The first trailer coming Friday 11th of September and the second on the 18th. The first trailer is a little laid back, whilst the second is a little more serious. After those two trailers are complete, we'll try and get as many people as we can to watch the annoucement video (link at the bottom) to know what this exactly all is and just contact all the people we can to watch the show. I need to practise and show the other members of the crew what the show will be like and once I show them, ask what I need to change and improve, what they like and didn't like and repeat the process again but add the improvements. Once we are all happy how the show is done, it's all ready to roll! And in the mean time of contacting all these bunch of people about this, I'll get some video blogs done. Probably no more than a dozen, just so people that aren't as interested in X Update, have something that I'm happy and able to give them to watch for entertainment purposes. I might even do a second annoucement video to further explain a couple of things, particularly about the site.
